My dentist, Dr. Bozena Strachan DMD, began offering me the Alpha-Stim treatment during my dental work. I have suffered severe anxiety during dental treatment all my life and have even put off having dental work done due to anxiety. The Alpha-Stim made me feel so relaxed and at ease that I am now able to have extensive work done and even be calm enough to close my eyes and meditate during my hour and a half treatments.

Dr. Strachan is always keeping up with state of the art treatments and new techniques in dental treatments. So much so that even when I moved to Hawaii for 3 years I would come back to Colorado for all my dental work.

I was injured on the job, resulting in 3 ruptured disc in my neck and 2 ruptured disc in my back. I was in SEVERE pain CONSTANTLY. I had anxiety so BAD. Dr. ordered Physical Therapy 3 times a week. Since the injury, I had been taking a narcotic pain med- Lortab 10.5 Almost a YEAR later I had surgeries that relieved my pain; but by then I was hooked on the pain med. I had been using an Alpha-Stim SCS 3X a week during P.T. So I bought my own, started using it daily at home and after a FEW days, I laid the narcotic down and did not crave it any longer. I was OVERWHELMED!! The SCS unit worked a miracle for me. It's fantastic !! It calms my anxiety GREATLY also.

I am writing to tell you about the difference I have been feeling after only using the Alpha-Stim® 100 for 3 weeks. I suffer every month from PMDD. My symptoms included fatigue (so bad I would have to nap during the day) 2 weeks before my menstrual cycle, anxiety, depression, body aches in my legs and upper and lower back. My doctor recommended I go for acupuncture. When I went to the pain management doctor who she referred, he introduced me to the Alpha-Stim® 100. I can tell you only after 3 weeks, I feel a world of difference. I have more energy, I don't feel depressed and I haven't had to take any naps. My body aches are almost gone. I thank EPII for making such a wonderful device. This little machine has made me feel my youth again. I'm only in my mid 40's but I felt like I was much older before I was introduced to the Alpha-Stim® The customer service people are wonderful at your company also. My name is Barbara Rhodes and I am 100% disabled Gulf War Veteran with extreme anxiety, depression and PTSD (Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder) with panic attacks.

Nothing has ever helped my condition, only masked it. Like a big band aid covering up the problem, which took years of lacking continuity of care to only worsen with misdiagnosis and way too many narcotics. Your Alpha-Stim® has actually worked and changed my life. I no longer hide in the closet when the doorbell rings and I react to situations with some control and coping skills for the first time in such a long time. I can cut back on anxiety medications, which now allows me to think again, as all the side effects of the meds steal your life and who you are and you cannot think clearly.

I wanted to write and thank you for creating the Alpha-Stim®. This device has literally saved my life.

 I am 33 years old and I began having some anxiety after going through a few life hits. After a few months of trying self-help methods with few results I resorted to going to a psychiatrist to seek some medical help. When I began antidepressant treatments, things went from bad to complete hell.

Then began the panic attacks, gut-wrenching pain, extreme fear approaching agoraphobia, pounding heart, shakes, crawling skin, vice-like tension in my neck, the list goes on and on. I'd lost 45lbs in 2 months. Doctors were prescribing this and that, taking this one up and the other one down. I physically shook for 8 months straight, had trouble walking, vomiting, my skin felt like it was on fire. I'd jump at the slightest touch or sound. I had massive confusion and fear and was basically incapacitated mentally and physically. The doctors rapidly dropped me from the ADs and I became suicidal. I was committed to a psych ward for 3 days. I have never been depressed in my life let alone suicidal. I'd had literally lost control of my body and my mind.

After the hospital trip, I decided no medication was working and I began to rapidly lose hope. I came off the medications and was left many times worse for it. Depression set in again and I felt that my only options left would be ECT, VNS or death (when I only had some anxiety when this all began). When I started researching these electrical therapies I stumbled across CES and the Alpha Stim. I took the research you published to my doctor and he refused to prescribe it. I then begged my therapist to prescribe it and she did as she could see how completely desperate I was. The results have been nothing short of miraculous.

My depression was completely GONE after my VERY FIRST treatment. I was astounded and elated. I could not believe it. I still had anxiety but continued treatment over the next few weeks. My mind cleared up and my fears went away. Its as if a light switch flipped in my brain and said "whats the problem?". I still have some physical symptoms but they really dont bother or scare me like they did before, and consequently they have been slowly diminishing over time. In just 6 weeks I've gone from completely incapacitated to about 90% back to normal. With renewed confidence and hope I'm certain of a complete 100% recovery. When exactly that will be I dont know, but I know it will happen, and all without side effects.
