I would like to take this opportunity to say that from the very first treatment I receive at my physician's office using the Alpha-Stim® unit, I felt an indescribable sense of calm. This was such a marked response it was no long before I wanted to purchase a unit of my own to use a home. The medications that had been prescribed for anxiety and depression had not had the same effect that the unit had. Now my Alpha-Stim® SCS unit is kept at my bedside and every morning before I get up I use it on the 20-minute setting. Then, when I get ready for the day I do so feeling both calm and energized. I'm ready.

Most recently this little unit really "showed its stuff" when I found myself in a situation where I was working very long hours and was becoming rather overwhelmed by the amount of time I was putting in at work and then after work needing to put in an additional three hours on a short-term project. After just a week and a half of this I was feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and fatigued. Even though I knew this was just a limited-term situation I was not sure I was going to be able to keep my commitment. Then, after being reminded by my spouse how much better I felt using my Alpha-Stim® unit, we decided to see it could help bridge the time between work and project. I started coming home from work, using the unit for a 20-minute period of time along with a "power nap", after which I was able to get back to the task at hand feeling calm and energized. This worked so well I was easily able to keep my commitment and finish the task at hand.

This therapy is so effective I look forward to a reduction-if not discontinuation-of the medications that I have been taking in an effort to achieve these same results.

I am really very happy to have found a non-medication solution to some very difficult medical problems. This little unit helps put the rainbow back into my sky.
