Date: January 22, 1991 My background is thirty five years in the practice of chiropractic. I purchased the Alpha-Stim® to determine if a post surgical hip surgery pain could be relieved in an eighty two year old woman. The pain was worse at night, interfered with sleep, and required pain medication. I am not sure what the diagnosis should be other than a myofascial pain syndrome. Regardless of the correct diagnosis she has experienced very good response and sleep is no longer interfered with. In addition I have a chronic "trigger point" which can be relieved quickly with the Alpha-Stim®. These two situations caused me to keep the instrument after the thirty day trial. |
