Date: July 10, 2008 Although I have recommended and used Alpha-Stim® for many years with great success and patient satisfaction, I had never had the need to utilize it on myself for both allodynic and hyperalgesic pain. After a hand injury on a power saw in my shop and subsequent surgery, and in the desire to eliminate medication, particularly narcotics, the Alpha-Stim® was totally successful in eliminating both types of pain within 48 hours. Since the treatment of allodynic pain is particularly difficult in many patients, this knowledge is of tremendous value to patients and health professionals alike! I will now always ask, "why consider pain medication without trying Alpha-Stim® first?" Richard H.
